Solid service, few hiccups

I tried out Designjoy for their Graphic Design Subscription, mainly for some ad creative and illustration work. Overall, the quality of the designs was high, and the unlimited requests were super helpful for my marketing team. Turnaround time for some of the smaller tasks was really quick, maybe 2-3 days, but a more complex illustration took closer to a week, which was a little slower than I hoped. Customer service was responsive when I had a question about revising a design, though. The annual plan discount made it a good value proposition compared to other services I looked at. I wish they had a slightly quicker option for larger projects sometimes, but it's a solid offering.

Good value with annual plan

They use real human designers, not AI. That's one of the main selling points actually, getting high-end, custom stuff. It's not just some bot spitting out images.

Definitely real people. They assign you a dedicated designer, so it's not automated at all. You communicate with a person, get custom work, and can ask for revisions like you would with any human designer.

Nah, I've never seen a public promo code for them. Usually, the best way to save is by paying for the whole year upfront. That gives you a pretty big chunk off the monthly price. Sometimes they have special links through partners, but no general codes.

From my experience, if you have consistent design needs but not enough to justify a full-time salary, it's pretty good. You get a lot done for a flat fee and don't have to deal with hiring headaches. Plus, they handle all the different kinds of design.

Totally depends on your volume. If you have tons of ongoing, complex stuff, a dedicated in-house person might be better for deep product knowledge. But for bursts of work or a variety of smaller projects, Designjoy is way more flexible and often cheaper than a full-timer, especially with benefits.

I tried both. Designjoy felt more premium, especially for UI/UX work and more complex projects. ManyPixels was good for basic graphic stuff, but for higher-end, strategic design, Designjoy seemed to have better talent and a more focused approach. Designjoy also offers Webflow dev, which ManyPixels didn't when I looked.

Yeah, I'd say Designjoy leans more towards proper product design and web dev, while ManyPixels is more general graphic design, like social posts and banners. If you need serious UI/UX or even some Webflow coding, Designjoy is probably the better fit. If it's just a constant stream of simple marketing collateral, ManyPixels might be more cost-effective but maybe not as 'high-end'.

It's usually pretty quick, like 1-2 business days for most things. Obviously, a super complex UI project will take longer, but for landing pages and social stuff, they're pretty responsive. You submit it, they work on it, and you get it back fast.

I found it depended on the complexity. Simple revisions or ad creatives were super fast, sometimes same day. A full logo concept or a new web page layout might be more like 2-3 days for the first draft. They cycle through requests, so it's not like you wait for one to finish before they start the next in your queue, afaik.
